How to make an object show
As someone who's been into these kinds of web shows called object shows since 2016, I am going to give out a simple but informative step-by-step process on how to make your own object show if you're interested in making one!
Step 1
Brainstorm some characters. You can find some objects in your house to use or imagine them in your head.
Step 2
Make the characters. Sketch their appearance and come up with their personality. They don't have to be perfect, just as long as they are memorable.
Step 3
Come up with the premise of the show. Usually in object shows, you would like to make them compete in a competition to win a prize. You're allowed to do another kind of premise such as slice-of-life for example.
Step 4
Write some episodes. A good episode is supported by good writing. Just like characters, episodes don't need to be perfect but can still be good
Step 5
Make the episodes. Object shows are typically animated, so you need an animation program like Adobe Animate for PC users or FlipaClip for mobile users.
Animating takes time to skill, but you can also make your show live-action by recording the footage on a device.
Step 6
Upload your episodes. Once you're done making them, upload them on a video-sharing platform, especially YouTube, so that some people on the internet can watch your show.
Step 7
Look at feedback. It's crucial to listen to criticism that other people give on your show. You can use their criticism to improve certain aspects on your show and make it better next time.
The most important thing to keep in mind is to have fun making your show. Object shows are always fun to work on and one of the most interesting kinds of shows in particular, having it's own fanbase in general.
So even if you need to take a break from your show every now and then, never give it up and keep working on it. Although, you also have the option to cancel your show at some point for a certain reason.
But nevertheless, I hope this list here will help you to make your own obect show, so if you want to make one, go right ahead and have a good day!
